Ukraine War Takes Toll On Students’ Mental Health

“I wanted to take mine off but felt weird because everyone else was still masked up,” said one student about not having to wear a mask.
Increased assaults and track-pushing on the MTA have led students to find new ways to stay safe while commuting to Hunter by train.
“I went for therapy. I didn’t go for resources,” says one Hunter student about the school’s counseling.
“This would be amazing for students who work full time,” said Luger. “Most are forced to attempt five classes each semester, fail a few, and then eventually run out of TAP before they graduate.”
