Orchida Harizaj is a sophomore at Hunter College pursuing a degree in journalism and English. Born into an Albanian family who had been wrongfully persecuted for its beliefs, Orchida immigrated to the United States to avoid the hostility in her home country. She now hopes to bring attention to and give a voice to the underprivileged and to immigrants.
