Some NYC Students Need Their Naps

“I’ve been teaching virtually through the pandemic. My goal when it comes to my workshops are to build people’s confidence, boost their self-esteem and to give them something that they could actually walk away with,” says Gabriel Ramirez.
“I need the experience,” says one student intern. “It’s frustrating realizing that I’m devoting hours a day to a company and not getting paid, but this is me getting my foot in the door.”
“We literally came back from a two-year quarantine and an all remote school year, so to jump headfirst into a large sea of being in person, it can be a lot to handle,” said one student.
There was more than ice cream at USG’s recent event—there was a chance to connect with new and old friends.
