Freshman, alumni and super-seniors alike came to perform at The Olive Tree Review’s open mic night last week, presenting original poetry, excerpts of novels, songs and even a few freestyle raps.
The fall dance showcase cycled throughout the weekend and included interpretive dance, hip-hop and other blended forms of dance styles. Dance students wear multiple hats, going back and forth between performing pieces, changing for the next act, or running off stage left to the work the lights.
Janine Guerrier has released a debut album, Femtivity, on music sharing platforms and held her first concert to a packed room on campus last week. Look for her by the name of her alter-ego: Kiki Devii.
