Maryelin Ramos is a senior at Hunter College studying for her Bachelor's degree in Media Studies. Her dream of becoming a journalist began as an intern at a couple of small companies, where she wrote about beauty and entertainment. Through these internships, she learned that she wants to do politics and world news. In her spare time, she writes about what's happening in the world of makeup on her blog maryelinblog.biz and enjoys watching makeup videos on youtube.
President Jennifer Raab was just listed in the 2018 “Women Power 100” by City & State magazine, coming in at number 54 alongside other women who are helping to make a change from their different platforms. Some of the women on the list were ones who rose to power in politics after the recent midterm elections, some are presidents of other colleges, and some are CEOs.
On Dec. 5, the psychology department will be hosting an advising event as an informal way for students to meet as a group, and HCAP will be hosting several De-Stress Events.
