Anastasiia Poleva is a senior studying English literature, media studies and religion at Hunter College. Anastasiia is passionate about literature, climate change, and politics. She aims to spotlight hidden voices and experiences in her writing to make them part of the mainstream culture and understanding. Previously, Anastasiia has written blog posts and created media content for PeerForward, a non-profit that helps low income students get into college. She currently works as a part-time tutor at the Rockowitz Writing Center and is a prose editor and co-managing editor at The Olivetree Review at Hunter College. After graduating from Hunter, Anastasiia plans to pursue an MFA in Fiction.
