Library update: Fifth floor has no date of completion

With enrollment at an all-time high, up 4 percent from last year, students have very few common spaces to settle in between classes. Moreover, places students have traditionally used as sitting space, are now closed off for renovations.
With four out of the five cars out of service, students are having to wait or walk to get to lower-floor classes in the North Building. And for those with disabilities, it has become a struggle just to get to class.
