Laila Gad is a senior in the Macaulay Honors Program at Hunter College. She is majoring in Journalism, with a minor in environmental science. Laila is passionate about all things climate, especially when it comes to rising heat and urban heat island effect. After graduation, Laila hopes to pursue an MD.
