Here are three hidden spots to study at Hunter College that is easily accessible with your school ID.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Spot #1: <\/b><strong>The Benches on the Fourth Floor at Hunter North\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Need a place where you<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">can be comfortable and be able to relax without the loud noises of the library?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you&#8217;re in the West Building, go to the third floor and walk the sky bridge to the North Building and take the stairs to the fourth floor. There are seats on the fourth floor between the Music and Theater departments.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThe fourth floor North Building seats are comfortable,\u201d stated Catherine Garcias, a Media major with a minor in Music. \u201cI never really moved from there ever since my sophomore year. Photo taken by Rosalie Almonte Santos.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><b>Spot #2: <\/b><strong>Outdoor Terrace in the West Building\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hunter College has an outdoor seating area located on the eighth floor that is accessible to students who need fresh air or somewhere relaxing to study.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0\u201cOne time in the spring semester, I needed a nice quiet place to study before class and I just happened to go there and it was very quiet,\u201d said Jelianny Cruz, a Psychology major. \u201cI even got to witness people sleeping or stepping outside to sit outdoors.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can get to this location by either taking the escalator until the seventh floor and then the elevator at the West building or just take the elevator on the third floor to the eighth floor.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is a great place to study if you want to be outside and still have access to WiFi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Spot #3:\u00a0<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong> The Couches in the Baker Theater Building<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Baker Theater Hunter building, at <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">151 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">East 67th St.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is where you go to take theater classes that are not in the main North Building on the fourth and fifth floor.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once you get out of the train, walk to 67th Street, turn left, and you can\u2019t miss the building. You can go in but don&#8217;t forget to scan your Hunter ID.\u00a0 On the first floor or the lobby, there are seats that aren&#8217;t usually crowded or loud.
