In the last election, voter turnout jumped 16% among 18- to 29-year-olds compared to the previous election. At 36%, this was the largest percentage point increase for any age group, according to the <\/span>Census Bureau<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

With the get out the vote push strong this year, all eyes are looking to see how this typically progressive group sways the election this time around. As of October 23, more than 5 million young people have already cast ballots, including nearly 3 million in 14 key states, according to the <\/span>Center for Information and Research on Civic Learning and Engagement<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n
