Longfellow Park to reopen in the fall

The park, which has been closed for more than 10 years due to structural safety concerns, is scheduled to reopen in the fall. It is one of 17 Bronx parks set to reopen thanks to funding through the mayor’s Community Parks Initiative. Amenities will include¬†play equipment, a spray shower, new seating, pavement, lighting, fencing, and greenery.
