Barbara Nevins Taylor is an award winning investigative TV reporter. She’s the winner of twenty-one Emmy Awards and more than fifty top journalism awards and honors. As an investigative reporter Barbara pursues stories that make a difference in the lives of individuals and the community. Her reports have earned praise, generated government action and helped send people to prison. She also teaches video journalism at Brooklyn College and at Hofstra University. She’s particularly proud that her Brooklyn College students won the Society of Professional Journalists’ Mark of Excellence Award for the Northeast Region, and came in second in the national competition for a newscast they produced during the 2010 Summer Broadcast News Institute course, which she teaches. |
