Josie Carbone, who became principal at Girls Prep on Kelly St. in 2009, is featured in a new book that profiles several school leaders who have built exemplary schools in underserved NYC communities. She’ll be leaving the day-to-day operations at Girls Prep to replicate her programs here at other locations.
